Falcon High-Performance Monel (M35-1 / Alloy 400) Check Valves
At Falcon, we design and manufacture industrial-grade Monel Check Valves engineered to prevent backflow and reverse fluid flow in severe, highly corrosive environments. Cast in high-purity ASTM A494 Grade M35-1 (Cast Monel 400) and trimmed with Monel K-500, our check valves offer automatic, rapid-closing isolation to protect pumps, compressors, and sensitive process equipment from severe pressure surges and water hammer.

Check Valve Types Offered
Swing Check Valves:
Features a top-hinged disc that swings fully open under forward pressure. Offers full-bore flow capability with minimal resistance, ideal for horizontal and vertical-up pipelines.
Piston / Lift Check Valves:
Uses line pressure to lift a guided piston disc off the seat. Superior for high-pressure, high-velocity gas and liquid lines requiring fast closure.
Dual-Plate (Wafer) Check Valves:
Compact, lightweight wafer design with twin spring-loaded plates. Provides fast, non-slam closure with minimal space and structural support requirements.
Tilting Disc Check Valves:
Designed with a pivoted disc that closes before reverse flow velocity reaches zero, dramatically reducing fluid hammer in high-flow marine and pump discharge applications.
Ball Check Valves:
Uses a Monel ball guide system for compact, small-bore (1/2" to 2") high-pressure instrument and chemical feed lines.
Seating & Leakage Performance
Monel-to-Monel Metal Seats (Standard): Precision-ground and lapped M35-1 / Monel K-500 seating rated to API 598 and ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV / V.
Resilient Soft-Seated Inserts (Optional): PTFE, RTFE, or Devlon inserts embedded in the disc for ISO 5208 Rate A / FCI 70-2 Class VI (Zero-Leakage / Bubble-Tight) performance.
