Duplex 2205 ( UNS S31803) is a nitrogen enhanced duplex stainless steel that is designed to combat common corrosion problems encountered with the SS316/SS304 stainless steel grades. Falcon Duplex 2205 stainless steel valves has good resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion. This resistance is extremely important for services such asOffshore plants, desalination plants, brackish water, bleaching operations, chemical processing, oil and gas productions and some food processing applications.
